Double basses are amazing. They're MASSIVE, for one thing. And, are all looow, and stringy. So I don't really understand them. But, I am definitely appreciative.
They have a double bass in Room D at my school. (It does only have 3 strings, and is incredibly out of tune.. but we can't have everything) I always play it whenever I get the chance. There is something about it. Although it would be incredibly unfortunate if you had to take it anywhere, you'd probably have to hire a van. :)
